He’s a kindergartener!

And.... he’s off. I can’t believe it. In some ways it’s been a long wait and in others he still seems so young. Ty was younger when he started (given the cutoff) but he was raring to go. G not so much. He was nervous, which made me nervous. It was a viscous cycle of him telling me to stop crying and me trying to smile through the tears so he could be excited. I have seen so many senior year / college freshman posts and it’s eerily familiar. Time flies. Our goal is to make them ready. Hard working, caring, determined, and unique individuals. It’s trying at times, but we are on our way. I’m sad to see the time pass, but excited to see what the future holds. May God watch over you little man. Here’s to a wonderful school year.
